Identify an Aniimo by species name + form name, then compare the fields you need. For example, Rainstorm Nimbi has Wind and Electric elements, while Plateau Nimbi has Wind and Ice. Both list Fly Lv.1 and Puff Up, so that element difference does not give them different listed movement skills.
Compare Nimbi's named forms
All four forms below list Fly Lv.1 under Pathfinding and Puff Up under Mobility. Compare their differences here:

Read habitat names as the regions listed for that form, rather than a complete set of spawn coordinates or encounter conditions.
All four entries describe Puff Up as helping with jump height and a single airborne dash. Rainstorm and Plateau add different combat elements, so sharing this skill does not make the forms interchangeable in every comparison.
Identify before comparing

- Match the Aniimo name: this example concerns Nimbi.
- Match the named form, such as Rainstorm or Plateau.
- Compare the fields relevant to your task: elements for an element comparison, or Pathfinding and Mobility for an exploration comparison.
Try these three comparisons:
- Wind and Electric: choose the Rainstorm row. Plateau's second element is Ice.
- A listed higher-jump effect: all four entries describe Puff Up with higher jumping and one airborne dash. These entries give no extra dash to a form just because it has a second element.
- The Argent Strait: Basic is the only one of these four entries that lists this region. That identifies a listed habitat, not an exact place or condition for catching it.
The comparison is complete when you can name both the form and the field that answers your question. Matching elements or movement skills does not establish equal overall combat strength.
Keep form and rarity labels separate
The July 2026 Bond Pact FAQ gives an example with three separate labels: Pawney is the Aniimo, Mountain Woods Form identifies its form, and Sparkling identifies its rarity. In that event's example, hatching requires the matching form to be unlocked in the Aniilog; Sparkling does not add another restriction. Bond Pact's form-matching example
When identifying that example, keep both “Pawney” and “Mountain Woods Form.” Calling it only “Sparkling Pawney” leaves out the form you need to distinguish. The July event example explains the labels; it is not a current egg-claiming walkthrough.
